ACLS eLearning
CD-based or via the web
HeartCode ACLS Anywhere™ contains all of the lessons from the ACLS texts conveniently referenced. Providers can review all of the topics on which they need to spend more time. HeartCode ACLS Anywhere™ includes all of the exams required for successful completion of the AHA ACLS Program.
Providers are allowed a combined 32 hours to complete the program (you can stop and start as often as you like as long as you don't use more than a total of 32 hours to complete). Most providers only require 3-4 hours to complete the computer course (Part 1)
Heartcode ACLS Anywhere™ is approved by the ACCME, AACN, ACPE, and CECBEMS
STRESS FREE!!!
A current BLS for Healthcare Providers card is no longer a prerequisite for entry into the ACLS program; the AHA requires “BLS SKILLS”. However, if your BLS card has expired or is about to expire and you wish to renew, we still offer BLS certification within the ACLS course for a discounted price of $25. This achieved by challenging the written exam & skills test.

HeartCode ACLS Anywhere™ is an official American Heart Association™ self-directed e-learning program.
An alternative to traditional, classroom-based ACLS training, the self-directed HeartCode(TM) ACLS eLearning program uses eSimulation technology to let students participate in realistic patient scenarios, assess patients based on the most recent American Heart Association guidelines, and formulate treatment -- online and at their own pace.
As they train, an evaluation mechanism and intelligent debriefing provide students with immediate and objective feedback on whether their actions were correct or incorrect, and offer suggestions for improvement.
The HeartCode ACLS Anywhere™ program consists of two parts.
● Part 1 is the CD-based/Web-Based cognitive component that allows users to work through the ACLS training curriculum at their own pace, on the computer of their choice. No classroom training or attendance is required.
● Part 2 is the very important skills verification process, which can only be performed by AHA Instructor.
SKILLS TESTING
The American Heart Association™ has two options for skills testing by an AHA ACLS instructor. With either option, you will receive the AHA ACLS card.
Option 1:
If your employer or facility requires a "mega code" test after completion of the ACLS Anywhere program for purposes of documentation or applicable regulations, then you can use the skills check off sheets.
Option 2:
If your employer, facility does not require a "mega code" test after completion of the ACLS Anywhere program, then all you need is the CPR skills testing check off. A current Healthcare Provider CPR card is not an alternative to taking the CPR Skills Test.
Other features include:
● Ability to treat multiple rhythms (mega-code) in the same scenario
● New respiratory arrest case
● New code clock; a team dynamics lesson
● Pre-course self-assessment that helps students gauge their knowledge of ECG recognition and pharmacology
● Access to patient scenarios and text material for up to two years
● Full text (in PDF form) of the ACLS Provider Manual, the 2005 American Heart Association Guidelines For CPR And ECC, & the ACLS Core Drugs reference guide
