What forms of payments are accepted? Cash, Pay Pal or checks from your employer. Pay Pal accepts Visa , Master Card, Discover, and American Express. No personal checks accepted.
Is American Heart Association™ card accepted by most employers? American Heart Association is the gold standard. Check with employer to confirm. Red Cross is not accepted by most hospitals and universities. Beware of training that utilizes AHA guidelines, but does not distribute the official card.
When does the certification expire? Two years.
What if my CPR card has expired? The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers courses are designed for first time or renewal students.
Expired more than 30 days Advanced Cardiac Life Support cards must call, 727-557-6276, Alex Asble RN, BSN to request an exception or elect the eLearning option. The PRETEST IS REQUIRED (answers included) for admission to all ACLS classrooms.
Do I need to purchase a student manual? Manuals will be provided for classroom use and may be purchased from Channing Bete, Laerdal Medical, and Worldpoint ECC

- What is the eLearning format? Part 1
delivers the cognitive learning through web-based, self-paced modules. Parts 2 and 3 require students to meet with an American Heart Association Instructor to complete a hands-on skills practice session and a skills test. What comprises the skills test?

What should I bring to the skills test? Photo ID, certificate of completion from the American Heart Association part 1, and clothing that allows you to perform skills.
